In the Technology Department, pupils follow a broad general course where learners develop skills in producing and interpreting sketches, drawings and diagrams, skills in practical model making and construction, and skills in testing and simple evaluation of models. Learners apply safe working practices in a workshop or similar environment, and develop knowledge of basic engineering ideas. At the end of the broad general course, learners can follow a more specialised area within the technology framework.
