Our S2 pupils took part in our annual Enterprise challenge which is run in partnership with the Hilton Strathclyde and New College Lanarkshire. Pupils were involved in designing and making a healthy pasta dish. They presented their idea to the judges from the Hilton hotel and New College Lanarkshire in a Dragon’s Den type event. The winners were: Eve Gardiner, Ellie Muir, Sophie Kerr, Jack Kean and Cameron Boyd who impressed the judges with their dish ‘More than Carbonara”. In 2nd place was Adam Clacher, Holly Gibson, Jennifer Lindsay, Kelsie Chappel and Amie Mullan and in 3rd place was William Cook, Lauryn Haddow, Fraser Hogg and Dana Jovetic-Rankine. A massive thanks to our business partners and Mrs Heffernan’s team for organising such a great event.
A huge thanks to all of our local business partners and agencies who participated in our S2 Careers Fair last week. The event was a great success and we were delighted that our Convenor of Education Councillor McNally was able to speak to pupils and stall holders during a visit to the school.
Our new timetable for pupils in S1-3 began this week and senior students returning from SQA examinations will begin their new timetable on Monday 6th June.
