A very helpful UCAS evening for senior students and parents took place in the school on Monday 7th October. The evening was designed to support students as they prepare for University and to give advice on student loans and fee applications. Presentations were delivered by representatives from the University of Glasgow and the Students Awards Agency for Scotland.
Throughout the week our S4 students have been involved in work experience placements with a wide range of businesses and local services. As always this is one of the highlights of the year for S4 and we received very positive feedback from employers and our students. We would like to thank all of the local businesses who have offered this fantastic opportunity to our young people.

During a school term pupils can earn Eco merits in a variety of ways. Pupils with the most ECO merits at the end of a term will win a prize – usually a £5 voucher. Pupils will be reminded how they can earn eco merits during the term at different times. The first way to gain ECO merits is to collect Morrison’s Let’s Grow vouchers. Pupils can hand these in to their Tutor Teachers
