MALAWI TEAM – Fundraising Events
Our S6 Malawi Team have been working extremely hard on their fundraising efforts over the past few weeks. The team would like to thank our parents, pupils, staff and the Bellshill Community for the tremendous support they have given to a range of events which have included:
Our brilliant Talent Show (Photo attached) won by Lucy Nelson; our sponsored cycle around Millport and our bag-pack at Bellshill Morrisons on Saturday 12th October which raised almost £700!!!!
The team are already planning their next big event which will be a CRAFT AND VINTAGE WINTER MARKET in the Academy on Saturday 9th November
We are also looking for crafters, bakers and makers who wish to sell their homemade wares, which might include; baked goods, paintings, photographs, jewellery, candles, and other items. The market will run from 11am-3pm and all funds raised will assist our Senior pupils involved in the Malawi Project.
If you are interested in obtaining a stall, or require more information for yourself or a friend, please contact Miss McCormick in the Art and Design Department.
